Michael Webber
A LEADER WHO LISTENS
You deserve a State Senator who works just as hard as you do. That’s why Michael Webber gets up every day and fights hard to help families get ahead. Senator Webber is working hard to lower the cost of living, provide a quality education, increase access to mental health services, and support local jobs and infrastructure. A resident of the district for over 30 years, Webber grew up here, attended local schools, served in public office, and now raises his young son in the area together with his wife, Julia. Michael has been a licensed insurance agent since 2010, helping private and public sector clients with risk management and best practices.
SERVICE BEFORE SELF
“Service before self” best describes Michael’s life’s work. He has been an active member of the chamber of commerce, a leader on the city council, and an effective leader in the state Legislature. A former president of the local Jaycees, Michael helped provide young adults with leadership training and promoted the welfare of the community and its citizens through service projects, such as delivering Easter baskets to seniors and Christmas presents to disadvantaged children. Senator Webber has built a reputation as a strong independent working on behalf of the people of Oakland and Macomb.
